The Robert Lachowicz Invitational Dinner

The Robert Lachowicz Invitational Dinner will take place on Monday 14th October (7pm for 7:30pm) in the unique setting of Trent Bridge cricket ground.

This not-to-be-missed event in the most breathtaking of settings will see a plethora of Panthers legends gather for a very special evening at one of the world’s most-famous cricket grounds.
A top-of-the-range three-course meal will be provided by the staff of Michelin-star Nottingham-born chef Tom Sellers, who used to play ice hockey with Lachowicz in the Nottingham juniors and has a link with Trent Bridge with the recently-opened Six Restaurant as part of the Radcliffe Road stand redevelopment.
The night will be hosted by former BBC presenter Owen Bradley and as well as quality hockey conversation, the evening will form part of the draft for the next day’s Lachowicz Invitational Tournament.
The NHL-style draft will see the GMs of the four teams select their rosters for the tournament the next day.

Lachowicz said: “I am excited to be holding the dinner at one of the best sporting venues in the world. I would like to thank Trent Bridge for being our host and to Tom Sellers, who I am thrilled to be linking up with for the dinner. It am sure it will be a brilliant night and I can’t wait to see everybody.”
Tom Sellers said: “I am honoured to be working with Rob on his testimonial and have great memories from our days playing hockey as a junior in Nottingham. It is fantastic that the event is at Trent Bridge, a venue I have great links with and I am sure it is going to be a wonderful night.”
Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club commercial director, Michael Temple, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Rob’s event to Trent Bridge and look forward to spending an evening celebrating his commitment to the Panthers and our city. I can vouch from our own partnership with Tom Sellers that his food is beyond compare and the event provides a rare opportunity to welcome one of Britain’s best chefs back to home turf.”
